Shaheed Diwas

Shaheed Diwas, also known as Martyr‘s Day, is observed annually in India on March 23rd to commemorate the sacrifice of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev who were executed by the British colonial government in 1931.

As of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, I do not have information on specific events or plans for Shaheed Diwas 2023.

However, it is likely that the day will be observed with solemn ceremonies and tributes paid to the three revolutionaries who gave their lives in the struggle for India’s independence.

Schools, colleges, and government offices may remain closed, and national flags will be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect.
